Am sitting in lotus position (minus the arms; i sit with my legs like that b/c its comfortable for me, but just sitting there with my hands also in that position would not allow me to do much in the way of homework...)

Anyway, am sitting at my computer with my *legs* in lotus position, cup of green tea in hand, Josh Groban playing in the cd-player, newly changed light bulb so i am finally working in a brightly lit space, and i am feeling strangely accomplished. Like, the "my belly's full, Im ready for bed" kinda childlike satisfaction. Don't ask me where it's coming from. I don't want to analyze it for fear the calm will go away...

Mock Trial was... definitely a learning experience. I can say that much for sure. I can also say that those lady lawyers who go to court with their high heels have a lot of talent to jump out of those rolling chairs to object without tripping or sending the chair flying back. I'm a little flat-footed, so Im used to wearing high heels; in fact, I can probably walk better in them. I know I can balance better in them. Honestly, I can walk or even jog on, say, those pieces of wood they use on the edges of flowerbeds to keep the water from running out, better than I can with sneakers. Anyway, the point is I'm used to high heels, am very comfortable in them and can manage to run around in them without tripping, and i was having a lot of trouble with that danged chair. Granted, most of the time I either wasn't paying close enough attention or I just wasnt fast enough to catch when I should have been objecting, but when I did get it, the chair kept getting in my way. Gr. Not that Im blaming the chair for my slowness, but Im going to try to at least practice shooting out of the chair without having to think about *not* sending it flying into the bar so I will actually be able to figure out what rule Im going to base my objection *on*.

So, after the practice we all went to the Chateau to eat. Anna, John, Matt, Laura, Joseph and I were trying to figure out how to tactfully rush our rides so we could get back to the Hennens house, where all the vehicles were since wed all piled into two cars to get to the courthouse. The reason for rushing back to get the vehicles? We had 20 minutes to get to the theater to watch Chicago. Alas, Laura couldnt come. Really, Laura, were going to have to take you some other time. You really need to see it. Before Mock Trial.

Our reviews of the movie? hehe, well heres an exerpt:

Me, on the phone with my brother: It was (long pause) ..interesting. Definitelyum different. Yeah. But I liked it. /blah blah end of conversation/ Bye.
Matt: Just interesting, huh? (laugh)
Joseph: Im thinking more like sexually frustrating.

While we were outside the theater just talking and stuff, I was speaking and, of course, gesticulating. A woman was walking past me from behind, so I didnt see her, and while I was wildly gesticulating, as I have a habit of doing, I smacked her in the face. o_O I was all Oh, Im sorry!!! and then I laughed. I couldnt help it. I had to laugh. Besides, I didnt really smack her per say. It wasnt hard. But it really was funny. I said, I hope shes not upset! hehehe then Anna said, but you laughed! Im sorry anna, I really am, but I dont see whats wrong with seeing the humor in a situation ^_~ and it *was* funny. I only hope she saw the humor in it too, though it didnt seem that she did

Another quote from Joseph, while we were waiting on our respective rides:

(concerning the paper mill) When I was a kid, I used to think, So *thats* where clouds come from.
