The return of the prodigal... blogger...

Well, since I havent blogged in years, or something like that, and considering the sudden amount of infamy the insoms are due to receive in a short time (^_~ ja, lichen?), and ALSO since, much to my disbelief and pleasure, I have only one assignment tonight, I shall now attempt to type up some of the things Ive written in my little notepad for the last few weeks to post.

1) Physics. Not nearly as bad as wed feared. It took me three days to get Whitney back, and after that I have no idea how Dr. Feldhaus conned Cole into taking the class, but somehow we rounded up three people. The whole period that first day, Cole was kind of in a daze, going I cant believe Im in here. What in the world am I doing in here? Im taking Physics. Again. Physics TWO. I thought Id never have to look at that periodic table again. And so on. Whitney and I were very very entertained.

2) Biology II. Now, that one is turning out to be one of the hard classes of the year. Its ok, though, as long as the books keep up with the laffy taffy illustrations, Ill be fine. Oh, and the Uggles. Dont forget the Uggles. When Laura and Mary get the site up, Ill be sure to link, for your viewing pleasure.

3) Calculus. We always say how it seems theres never enough time in that class. Well, naturally, all that talk of music and hacking with the teacher can be a bit time consuming.

4) Fine Arts. More trouble that its worth. I think Ill take regular Art next semester. The meditating was remarkable enough, though.

5) French trip!!! Went to Atlanta, Georgia, to the Fox Theater to see Les Miserables. Ye gods and fishies, it was sooooo awesome! The songs were, naturally, marvelous, but I really really have to stress the set. The props and set were amazing. They had more sides and parts than a swiss army knife. Honestly. And we all wanted to take little Gavroche home. Oh, and the woman who played Eponine? She started out playing Kim from Miss Saigon. The actor who played Jean Valjean is one of three men who have played all three of the main male characters in Phantom of the Opera. What does that say for his range, not to mention his sheer talent altogether? Ladies and gentlemen, it says a lot.

Had a lot of fun taking pictures of the other girls (Whitney, Laura, and Carolanne) spitting out the window and shouting at passersby in French. And yelling at the pizza people. And the operators. Ye gods, that was an experience. Between Carolanne and me, it took an hour and fifteen minutes to explain to the guy that we wanted 1 pizza, 1 2-liter coke, and 1 order of breadsticks because we had coupons for them. Not to mention that it took thirty minutes to get the number to begin with. The hotel operator kept connecting me to AT&T wireless network somehow. And half of the pizza peoples numbers were disconnected. Laura, I dont remember exactly what that fourth (Fifth? Sixth?) pizza guy said to you, but please rant.
Did I mention that I stole three or four menus from the places we ate at? I took one from the Hard Rock for my brother he liked it better than the thing I got him from the coke museum place actually, he liked the fact that I took it without asking, so he hung it up in his office. To commemorate my spurts of lawlessness? Im not sure.

Oooh. We used the bathroom of the Ritz Carlton. They had chandeliers in each freaking stall. And linen towels. And in the lobby place, they had a STEINWAY piano. It was absolutely gorgeous. I petted it. I took pictures. I drooled. Whitney finally dragged me away after about ten minutes. For that, I made them endure me ranting about the aesthetic beauty of a Steinway for the next two miles.

And to top it all off we sang Little Mermaid sing-a-longs on the way home. In French. And English. And German.

It was a good field trip. We should do it again sometime.

6) Hogwarts @ RO!! So far:
Harry: John
Hermione: Anna
Cho: Yun Gee
Ron: Tyler Arnold
And Joseph was going to be Draco, complete with slicked back hair, but hes gone now.

Which brings me to an entirely different point. I am going to throttle that boy. Whos going to do our opening statements if Josephs gone?!?! And whos going to scare the other team to the seventh level of hell with his cross exam?!?! GAH!

Oh, I finally had my birthday a month ago! Im finally 17 and still stranded although, I am actually driving every once in a while.

And that is absolutely all I have time for at the moment.
