Apologies for my utter lack of blogging prowess, but that's just how it is.
Nyah.
When Minute Maid markets their new drink as 'Limeade Limonada,' is the Limonada supposed to be a different language or are they just trying to be creative?
I really, really, *really* feel like painting something big and nonsensical (much like the subject order of this current post as of yet) on the western wall of my room or in the Art room at school, with or without Mrs. Heard's permission. Maybe the side of my computer case will do for now. Hm. *ponders*
Matta, let's see what all has happened since December 4 that might be of interest.
Oh. I know.
May the angels weep, for I now have my *drivers license!!!!!* Bwahah!
Notice I have no intention of trying to locate the correct spelling of that confounded word.
So it's the first day of Christmas break, not just any Christmas break mind you, but the first break - including the summer ones - since junior high that I have had no assignment to complete before returning to school. I'm happily attempting to sleep late into the day, but fate, in the form of my father, had other plans. Bright and early, I was awaken by a bellowed to rise and shine cuz I was getting my license.
Let it be known that retired Command Sergeant Majors of the Army are well trained in the art of ululation.
Anyway, trudging onward...
Minks!!!
Yes, minks, those godscursed elongated rats with hairy tails whose pelts are coveted for their sleekness, not their practicality. Yes, those.
I got to cut one up~~
And wonderful OCD Courtney actually managed to do some cutting of her own without getting all grossed out about it~
So now L-chan and I have mink heads and are experimenting with different ways to get the meat off... I believe she left hers outside in the sun o_O but I tore the mandible off mine and boiled it. The meat was easy to pick off after that... Don't know if I'm going to bother with the skull or not... I think I might, just to see how they fit together. The mandible has these hinge-like protrusions at the back, on both sides... I think' it'll be neat to see how they snap together.
I can't decide if I want to do my Bio II seminar on AIS, Savant Syndrome, or DPS a.k.a. MPD.
And now... a lengthy lemming.
You are a PHOENIX in your soul and your
wings make a statement. Huge and born of flame,
they burn with light and power and rebirth.
Ashes fall from your wingtips. You are an
amazingly strong person. You survive, even
flourish in adversity and hardship. A firm
believer in the phrase, 'Whatever doesn't kill
you only makes you stronger,' you rarely fear
failure. You know that any mistake you make
will teach you more about yourself and allow
you to 'rise from the ashes' as a still greater
being. Because of this, you rarely make the
same mistake twice, and are not among the most
forgiving people. You're extremely powerful and
wise, and are capable of fierce pride, passion,
and anger. Perhaps you're this way because you
were forced to survive a rough childhood. Or
maybe you just have a strong grasp on reality
and know that life is tough and the world is
cruel, and it takes strength and independence
to survive it. And independence is your
strongest point - you may care for others, and
even depend on them...but when it comes right
down to it, the only one you need is yourself.
Thus you trust your own intuition, and rely on
a mind almost as brilliant as the fire of your
wings to guide you. You are eternal and because
you have a strong sense of who and what you
are, no one can control your heart or mind, or
even really influence your thinking. A symbol
of rebirth and renewal, you tend to be a very
spiritual person with a serious mind - never
acting immature and harboring a superior
disgust of those who do. Likewise, humanity's
stupidity and tendency to want others to solve
their problems for them frustrates you
endlessly. Though you can be stubborn,
outspoken, and haughty, I admire you greatly.

You know, I just realized that I've been watching a *lot* of Stargate recently... ok, maybe not that much, but considering that I almost never watch any TV that isn't FoxNews, it's a lot. And on that note, I watched HP&tSS last night while attempting to create some semblance of a work of art with my oil pastels... Looks like it'll end up mixed media. We'll see.
^____^
There. I blogged. I am pleased and feeling strangely accomplished, despite the fact that I have at literally 11 time consuming and, needless to say, incomplete activities on my to-do list.
... I want some ice cream.
