Annnd! what have we been up to the last few days?
I suppose the highlight would be the opera Saturday night. I went to 'babysit' the kids in the cast while they weren't on stage. After thoroughly embarrassing Ty in front of half the cast, or so he claims, I got Paige's Nintendo gameboy thingie out of Mrs. Lisa's car and chatted with her for the rest of the evening. About an hour before the show ended, my dad called me and wanted me to come home to help... so since Mrs. Lisa was on stage at the time, I told Paige to pass along the message and trotted along home.
The next day in church, during the middle of Sunday School, I was looking through my purse for a pen, shrieked as quietly as possible, and hurtled out the door with my cellphone in hand.
Yes, I still had Mrs. Lisa's car keys.
I found it very funny, but since I have a habit at finding not funny things funny, I thought my amusement might be a sign that Mrs. Lisa may not be pleased with the inconvenience. So I started to worry. I made a few frantic calls to her house and cell phone and waited all day until I finally talked to Ty online that night. My messages were too garbled, apparently... the mic in my phone seems to be more sensitive than in my old one.
So today I returned the keys, because yesterday I came home straight after school and completely forgot about them. Again. But they're back where they belong now, and thankfully, getting home that night hadn't been a big deal for Mrs. Lisa and family since she had a spare key... she sent Scott home with Ty to bring the spare key back, and all was well. Much to my relief. ^^;
And now...
*stabs calculus*
I have homework. I think there's more to post, but it'll have to wait until I can drag it back up to the surface of my mind.
