HaPpY MaRcH!!

o_O

Okay, so I havent posted in over a month now, and Im a day beyond the anniversary.

Lets see, whats happened since Jan. 29.

Mock Trial. Worked with Laura again this year, only the roles were reversed; she was the attorney and I was the witness(es). Yay~ We work well together. I think if the team had more time (like, say, if Mr. Hennen didnt baby the sophomore team or at least let us go off and do our own thing) we would have been *more* awesome. I pitied the first team we played; they looked like junior high kiddies. Poor things, they were so timid. After the first objection (they were prosecution), the completely backed off. Laura spoke really loudly (which was rather comic) and the meek JV kids just kind of winced at her. The attorney who cross-examined me was horrible. She let me get away with all kinds of explanations that put things into a better light for me and when she tried something along the lines of Please just answer the question, and I replied with an I am TRYING to answer your questions if youd give me a moment. *glare* she literally backed up a step and apologized. Wow. Docile little thing. I was a happy little imposter basketball coach then.

Thats right. The character I played was a basketball coach.

My bestest performance EVER. I wish Id thought to tape it.

Lauras closing rocked. Anna not only spoke up, she acted her parts as well. And she was so nervous at the beginning~ her leg was spazzing not quite twitching, but not shaking either. But she made it through, and she was great~ John was nervous too, mostly because both of his roles were the main ones. Lots of questions, lots to get mixed up on during the cross exam. It was all okay, though, he survived it, and very well I might add. Mary was on the team this year for the first time, as an attorney. It was an impressive first performance, too, especially considering that she was sick right before the actual trial.

All in all, despite not making it to the top two, I was very pleased with our overall performance. If only a musical movie thingie a-la Chicago was playing then. Well, it wouldnt matter if there had been one, because everyone had to go to get ready for the Mardi Gras parade. But! Despite the lack of post-trial music, there *was* some snow! I was so freaked out, in a very very good way. It bloody SNOWED. In Louisiana! I drove in my first snow!!! It was very exciting ^_^

Senior memory book is finished! Yay! That thing was *shudder*. I cant possibly imagine what drives women to make a hobby of scrapbooking, although I have to admit that I shall probably enjoy looking back in a few years heck, even in one year.

Biology Seminars are moving along nicely. Very informative. They picked the dates for presentation when I wasnt there, and Corky tells me that they decided to leave me for the last day since I would probably talk the most and try to debate the most o_O Im not sure whether to be flattered or not

annA!!! Youre using paragraphs now!! *tear* Im so proud and grateful. Its much easier for me to read now ^^; Hey, glasses dont fix *everything* you know.

SO. I get to learn how to play the guitar to play the song for graduation or baccalaureate.

I had a dream the other day and I dont remember if Ive ever mentioned it before, but I almost never remember my dreams, so when I even remember that I had one, I consider it a big deal. And the frustrating thing is I dont remember this one! All I know is it had to do with something blue-ish grey. And when the alarm clock (strategically placed FAR across my room so I have to get up to kill it) went off, I must have jumped four feet off my bed, landed running, and crashed into the chair by the wall, knocking it into my unstable closet doors. Hence, instead of the customary shrill ringing, muffled versions of the prior days favorite curse, and a metallic clanging smack, there was a shrill ringing, a yelp, bedsprings *boinging*, a thump, a crash, the belated choice curse with no attempt at discretion, and a lot of wooden clattering before the alarm clock was dropped as hard as possible.

Oh, and randomly, I got a chance to practice my all-terrain capabilities, or rather, my little dirty cars capabilities. Choudrant creek had to be *forded*.

Lastly! Tribute to my most recent favorite female singer (okay, it's not really recent... but this is the first time I've mentioned her on here... I think): Lea Salonga~ Lea played the role of Kim in Miss Saigon and Eponine in Les Miserables

Listen to Mi Morena and My December (Josh Groban) if you get a moment.

Anyway, I have homework. Surprise, surprise.

Damned essays.
