I saw dead bodies!!
The Bio II class was privileged to go to LSU dead body lab today!
We saw a whole host of peeled-and-sliced-open dead people. There was even a brain and many miscarried babies. There were either two or three fresh ones that they let us have a look at as well. We got to poke around at the innards and play with the tendons and joints. One of them's feet was cut completely off! I held it up for Laura to take a pic, but we couldnt take pictures in there... respect and decency and all.
After the lab we went shopping~ Well, pretty much everyone else went to Old Navy Rashmi and I went to Booksamillion, where I finished books 7 and 8 of X. The store didnt carry Newtype, which surprised me.
I bought Four Past Midnight (Stephen King) and started (almost finished) Secret Window, Secret Garden. When we arrived back at the school, everything was bizarrely surreal. Not like, Oooh, Im dreaming! but more creepy and disconnected. I wonder how I looked o_O
Corky, Laura, and... I think Mary and Anna? and I were in the English classroom looking over our papers and such, and I felt the beginnings of a panic attack coming on, which confused me because I wasnt sure exactly what I was supposed to be panicked about.
My brother brought home the neatest speakers They got them for the college but since all the lab compies have headsets, he has sixty spare (awesome) speakers just sitting around and I get to have a set! Whee!
Oh, and on the way to school I started Brave New World I have to say Im finding it pleasantly surprising.
When I got home today, a Romanza CD was sitting on my desk I havent seen it in years besides which, its my brothers. Weird.
Im starting to wake up from that freaky surrealism thing now My brain is functioning smoothly, none of that disjointed, watching-a-movie type stuff. So I guess thats a good sign.
Demonology seminar tomorrow!
 and a calculus test.
