Ever wonder why we say "going to the movies" when we usually only go see one movie per sitting?

Now on to other things.

Got up at 4 this morning to go see my dad before the surgery. Happily, everything went according to plan for once. Now we have to figure out how to keep him off his feet for 6 months. I don't think he's aware yet that he won't be able to drive anymore and I'm certainly not going to be the one to break it to him >_<

So my mom and I are both immensly relieved that this is over with. We're exhausted. Waiting at a hospital is probably one of the most strenuous things ever. Ever.
