The B-Word
Baccalaureate.
It's a dreadful word, isn't it?
At any rate, it's tomorrow. I (finally) got my music yesterday... the first half of the medley is slower than I'm used to, but I guess I won't complain. Just the other day, though, I noticed a song that would be so much more fun to do. But it's too late for that now, I guess >_<
Faith of the Heart
It´s been a long road, getting from there to here.
It´s been a long time, but my time is finally near.
And I can feel the change in the wind right now. Nothing´s in my way.
And they´re not gonna hold me down no more, no they´re not gonna hold me down.
Cause I´ve got faith of the heart.
I´m going where my heart will take me.
I´ve got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I´ve got strength of the soul. And no one´s gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I´ve got faith, faith of the heart.
It´s been a long night, trying to find my way.
Been through the darkness. Now I finally have my day.
And I will see my dream come alive at last. I will touch the sky.
And they´re not gonna hold me down no more, no they´re not gonna change my mind.
Cause I´ve got faith of the heart.
I´m going where my heart will take me.
I´ve got faith to believe. I can do anything.
I´ve got strength of the soul. And no one´s gonna bend or break me.
I can reach any star. I´ve got faith, faith of the heart.
I´ve known the wind so cold, and seen the darkest days.
But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change.
I´ve been through the fire and I´ve been through the rain.
But I´ll be fine.
Anyhoo...
Graduation is the day after tomorrow!!
People ask me if I'm excited... and I'm really not that much. The novelty of it has worn off, I suppose. It's more of an inconvenience than anything else, now, since I can't just go tell my friends things in the morning because we're never going to be all together in one setting again. Actually face-to-face, I talk a lot but when we're online I don't make as much of an effort. Besides... we're seldom ever online all at the same time anyway.
John... I swear I'm going to return your .hack infection DVD tomorrow. Really.
So today Anna and I went to the TV valedictorian and salutatorion thing... We could have left an hour earlier if they'd TOLD us we weren't going to take a group picture...
We didn't get to look at the animals.
Ok, I really wanted to insert a teary smiley (oxymoron?) there but the T_T face just looks wierd in this font. And I don't feel like changing the font for this... so just know there should have been a teary smiley.
L-chan~~ I need to know what time your senior party thingie is Saturday.
Hopefully there'll be enough time afterward to go to a movie. E-chan wants to see Van Helsing and I WANNA GO TOO - but the last few days have been a wee bit hectic for some unexplainable reason. So maybe Saturday. ^_^
Oh, and by the way, if anybody knows where I can purchase a Sharp EL-5150 scientific calculator I'd appreciate a note... (I dropped a hard drive on my dad's... he's been using that thing for years... ^^;;;)
Anyway.
--squeee!!--
I went to see Ruston High School's production of Cinderella!!
Eh. Dinner I'll add to this later.
