Of cabbages and kings

Let it be known how happy I am to be stationary for more than two hours at a time. We've been commuting back and forth to Shreveport every day for... well, a while now.

To quote from L-chan's profile: "LoL of the day:"

This delightfully mad old lady at the VA clinic. She was a veteran of WWII, Women's Army Corps, (my dad insists that's where 'wacky' came from) and she was serenading the halls with dirty army songs. My dad knew most of them by the tunes, but the only one she belted out in an intelligible manner was "Lay me down, turn me over, 'n do it again~~!"

o_O

Daddy came home today, finally, complete with unmanagalbe wheelchair with new, equally ornery attachments, and oxygen tank.

Speech is written... mostly. Anna and I are comparing now to make sure I didnt take about the same stuff she did... it's a long ceremony as it is, I don't want to make it longer by rehashing what she's already talked about.

Graduation...

I'm ready for a change.

But right now I just want some ice cream.
