Coinkydinks~!
Went to a Korean church in Denver this morning~~ My parents and I didn't get back until 5 or so. After church we found out about some other korean supermarkets and such (the one we found before was not so nice...) so we drove around Denver to have a look.
There was a Komart, which surprised me. We never got to the other market they told us about because we went to the komart instead. After that my dad found the air force base and we bought yet some more stuff.... so now I'm stocked up on Korean food and rice for the time my parents are gone.
The korean church pastor's daughter is the same age as me and also a freshman at CU. She said she'd met another girl who's mother is Korean, is an incoming freshman, name is Deborah, birthday was in September, and is taking Korean this semester. Odd, neh? Anyway, maybe we can study together~~
I haven't had a chance to really talk to many of the ROTC people yet, except for Amanda. I feel bad about not hanging out with her, but I really haven't had the time to do much >_<
Anyhoo, I'm really beginning to look forward to the Korean class... to the whole college thing in general~ I just ordered my books (because I only just figured out how to find where the book lists were... I asked Nico XP) Thye're so expensive~! Luckily, the Navy classes don't require me to buy any books, so I really don't have that many to purchase. I still have to see about changing that culture class, though, so I may yet end up with a huge book bill.
Hm... I think I'll go iron my khakis now.
