So I actually didn't manage to get started on my costume, but I do have a very good idea of what pattern I want to use. Sadly, Hobby Lobby didn't have it in stock; I shall check at the fabric store tomorrow.
But I did manage a few other productive things~ I finally sent off that package to Lisa&Co, and I faxed that transcript request to ULM as well. In addition to -that- I went by Barnes and Noble and picked up the english volume one of Fullmetal ALchemist~~!!!!
Squeee!!
^_^
I am very happy indeed~
At B&N I saw a storyboard/script/book thingie of a Neil Gaiman movie called Mirrormask. It looks interesting. Molly thinks it looks creepy, though.
Tomorrow I have my last final (which I still have yet to study for) and Thursday I have one last thing for ROTC, and then I'm free for the summer~! (until Cortramid, that is)
I suppose I'll apply for a job at a bookstore or Office Depot or some place similar. I find that when dealing with people who are in need of being helped, whipping out the deep southern accent does wonders for temperment. And yes, anna-john-laura-corky-allothersfromlouisiana, I do have "deep southern" listed within my arsenal of random accents to use to confuse repeat-offending-sales persons. Although the accents have far more uses, now. ^_^ Seriously~ accent combined with YunGee perkiness works wonders, not to mention it always throws them off because they're trying to reconcile "Hang on... sorta asian looking..." with "southern accent... what?" and that gives me the upper hand, ha ha!
Well, I'm off to bed for a nap before I concede to my conscience and fetch my Philosophy of Law book (and bookbag, come to think of it) from my car.
But first, I have rescue the grandmothers at my church from being forced to wear the unfortunate looking corsages my mother is currently engaged in mass producing.
Wish me luck! I go armed with several bouquets of miniature roses to replace the... er.. hm.
