Some of you I (stupidly) had contact information for only in my phone and nowhere else, so I've got to tr to round up everyone's numbers again. Meet "El Dildo Bandito."

Rowan, 49, of the Heatherwood neighborhood north of Boulder, took responsibility for removing 21 colorful ceramic penis sculptures that, prior to Saturday, hung in the library art gallery.

The work, titled "Hanging 'Em Out to Dry," became the focus of controversy after people criticized Library Director Marcelee Gralapp's decision not to hang a 10-foot by 15-foot American flag in the building entry. People angered by her refusal began criticizing the library for waffling about a patriotic display while having no qualms about showing representations of male genitalia.

There was a public librarian there
She thought the American flag was insulting

Then when the Boulder police did arrest him
El Dildo Bandido gladly confessed
Boulder Police had fin'ly found a suspect
Mainly because he gave them his address

Boulder's a place where even a nut case
Can be elected the Mayor---
But if you try to apply common sense
Buddy you don'9t have a chance or a praye

And for now Bandido
Has been arrested and faces a court date
For his brave actions a veteran is tried
We should let Boulder officials hear our voice
Let them know that we are all on his side.
