In a bind

Allowing the UAE, which not only follows a drastically different world view concerning democratization and separation of church and state, but also still sees the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan and still fails to recognize Israel as a sovereign state, (and any other such country, state, or party, I may add) to have even the smallest amount of control or influence over one of many weak links in our nation's defense structure is surely madness.

It is only rarely that I find myself in agreement with Hillary Clinton on anything, and the very fact usually causes me to doubt myself on these occasions, but hey, if Jimmy Carter endorses it, it must be wrong.
