all's well
11:11 PM Sunday night...
I'm so tired! I feel like it should be much, much later than this.
I'm rewriting physical anthropology notes in my nice new fine point pens, listening to Il Divo and Josh Groban and nice soothing music like such, the kids are sleeping soundly in the next room, and
I dunno.
Lots on my mind. I feel restless, like, but I also more than anything would like to just curl up in my fuzzy ten year old comforter and sleep.
Oh wait... 14 year old comforter.
I'm twenty now, ja. Old enough for something mildly insignificant to have happened to me fourteen years ago. Another cake on the candle and what's it mean?
Dior and chocolat and lovely meaningful cards; books I will come to love and wear out as they should be with a nice red bag to tote them in; a nephew happily blowing out my candles, tiny slivers of baby teeth for the infant niece, and oddly large amounts of beautiful makeup; an unexpected gift from a persian coworker, bless her; above all things a wonderful surprise of a phone call and lastly (but early) a shiny ruby ring.
Gifts for me, they aren't important are they? markers of a special occasion, but there were lots of people who thought they were~
Friendly people~ and I can call them each "friend."
i am blessed.
