Happy Thanksgiving, all!

I am thankful for family, long lunches with excellent conversation, great haircuts, successful shoping sprees, chocolates, hot cocoa with a dollop of whipped cream, libraries, antiquarian bookshops, cute and comfortable shoes, stories, and sharing these with proven friends and newer ones yet that will last a lifetime.

I am thankful for Shakespeare, Neil Gaiman, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Steinway & Sons, Jonathan Gash, Robert Heinlen (mostly), George Lucas, Jane Austin, Yuu Watase, Yoko Kano, Benny Goodman, Michael Buble, Il Divo, Gaetano Donizetti, Charles Gounod, Josh Groban, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, among many others.

I am thankful for Google, Wikipedia, Maximillian, Barnes and Noble, Target, the Apple store, Dillards, the King Soopers across the street, amazon.com, and sometimes ebay.

My parents are home and safely ensconced in their beds, our bellies are full from Thanksgiving lunch, and I am nicely warm and fuzzy and, though reluctant to get up to go to work, I am looking forward to shopping tomorrow.

My Christmas list is slowly getting whittled down!

Happy Thanksgiving~

I am thankful.
